Biography
Ksen's practice is dedicated to providing accessible representation in family law matters, with an emphasis on serving traditionally underserved populations, including members of the LGBT community, immigrants from the former USSR, and children in domestic relations matters.
He believes that clients can be empowered to become valuable members of their own legal team, working actively on their own behalf to resolve their problems with the guidance of an attorney. He is the former co-chair of the family law section of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA), and is one of the few Russian speaking family law attorneys in Oregon. Prior to earning his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law school, Ksen co-authored the first LGBT non-discrimination policy for the New York City Administration for Children's Services and was one of the founding members of the Sylvia Rivera Law Project.
